पवन की रवानी है,
नदियों-सी शीतल है,
ढहकते शोलों-सी शोला,
उस की जवानी है,
भुझो तो कौन है वो.!
मेरी ज़िंदगानी है.!!
चंदा की चाँदनी-सी,
कचन-काया उस की,
शहद से भी मीठी,
लबों की प्यास उसकी,
भुझो तो कौन है वो.!
मेरी ज़िंदगानी है.!!
इठलाती बलखाती-सी,
इतराती शरमाती-सी,
हुस्न से हसीन है,
जीने का मकसद है,
भुझो तो कौन है वो.!
मेरी ज़िंदगानी है.!!
बिन नदिया-दरिया,
'सागर'कभी ना पूरा,
दिल की धड़कन है,
जिस्म की रूह है,
भुझो तो कौन है वो.!
मेरी ज़िंदगानी है.!!
Pawan ki rawaani hai,
Nadiyon-si shital hai,
Dhahkte sholon-si shola,
Us ki jawani hai,
Bhujho to koun hai wo.!
Meri zindgani hai.!!
Chanda ki chaandni-si,
Kachan-kaya us ki,
Shahad se bhi mithi,
Labon ki pyaas uski,
Bhujho to koun hai wo.!
Meri zindgani hai.!!
Ithlaati balkhaati-si,
Itraati sharmaati-si,
Husn se hasien hai,
Jine ka maksad hai,
Bhujho to koun hai wo.!
Meri zindgani hai.!!
Bin Nadiya-Dariya,
'Sagar'kabhi na poora,
Dil ki dhadkan hai,
Jism ki ruh hai,
