Finally the movie has been released in India. It's a nice movie, John Abraham and Lisa Ray has done an excellent job.

The movie didn't deserve the Oscar though.

Final caveat: It's an art movie, if you are planning to watch it with your girlfriend/boyfriend, don't do that, you won't have much fun Usual Smile

Water tells the perfoundly moving story of chuhiya (8 year old girl), a married and widowed at eight years old. Who is sent away to a home where Hindu Widows must live in penitence. Chuhiya's feisty presence deeply affects other residents, forcing each to confront their faith and society's prejudices.

A very good movi.. must watch Usual Smile

Extremist groups waged a campaign of death threats, arson and riots to stop the production of this controversial film, but director DEEPA MEHTA finally won and Her movi is now showing all over the world.

I was amazed when in one of my office meeting.. amrican ppl start discussing with me on this Movi. Here people know Deepa Mehta, we also discussed on Earth and Fire.. they were trying to guess her next Movi name... may be Wood Usual Smile
