Love in Blankets, warmth in cuddles
 
Hot coffees and cold breaths
 
Early morning's hard to awake
 
The sweaters of many colors
 
The caps that don't match

Bonfires in evenings
 
Early sunsets and late sunrises
 
Crisp air, colder winds that bite
 
Yes, winter is surely here!
 
As the summer peeks from the
 
season's corner, awaiting impatiently it's turn
 
Winter blows hard, blows cold, while we shiver
 
Drawing frowns on faces where smiles wandered
 
Lips pulled tight by cold creams lather,
 
Winter's frown, tis harsh and cold
 
is here for now
