apne gharon ko to jagmagate hain sabhi,
kisi andhere ghar ko jagmagao to aaj diwali mane,

bahar to diye jalaye humne hain bahoot khoob,
andhera dil ka mitao to aaj diwali mane,

pyar ka ujala failao, jitna bhi ho dum,
nafraton ko jala do aaj to diwali mane,

door rah kar to ki hain baaten ab tak,
humari bazm me aao to aaj diwali mane,

har taraf pyar ka mausam aur jindagi ho khushi,
maayus man ko hansao to aaj diwali mane,

dardee to dewana hai, chahat ke liye,
deep ki reet nibhao to aaj diwali bane
