Ya rab karun arz-e-haal shukrana,
Pursukoon guzra hai saal purana.
      shukrana, shukrana.

Thi gham ki baarish dheemi dheemi,
Khushiyon ki dhoop sehmi sehmi,
Mila barabar dono ka nazrana,
    shukrana, shukrana.

Mila maa baap ka saaya hardam,
Us mein mamta ka paaya sangam,
Bhai,behan ka bhi tha yaarana,
      shukrana, shukrana.

mile mujhe wo dost dobara,
khile murjhe phool dobara,
tha kitna haseen gulshan-e-dostana,
     shukrana, shukrana.

Nashe ki lat chhutey sabki,
Juey ki aadat mitay sab ki,
Rahe khush haal gharana,
    shukrana, shukrana.

Na rahe kabhi koi bhooka,
Na rahe choola koi sukha,
Mile sabko roti,mile khana,
    shukrana, shukrana.

Har beti ka ho aanchal salamat,
Har beti ki ho har pal hifazat,
Rahe mehfooz daman-e-zanaana,
    shukrana, shukrana.

Ho rihaa bekasoor qaidi,
Ho raha kitna majboor qaidi,
Hogaya uska kasoor purana,
    shukrana, shukrana.


Kahe hindu,kahe musalman,
Rahe miljul kar har ek insaan,
Na ho kabhi hamley katilana,
    shukrana, shukrana.

Rahe har bhool ker mushkil
Rahe khushhaal meri mehfil,
Hamara “YOINDIA”shayerana,
    shukrana, shukrana.

Saal do hazaar baraa,alvida,
Saal ko naye hamara merhaba,
Khush aamdeed naya zamana,
    shukrana, shukrana.

Tere karam ko na kabhi hum tarsey
Tere karam ki barish chhama chham barsey,
Ho puri “Sahal” teri har tamanna,
      shukrana, shukrana.
