Like my first post 'mirror of life' this post too has a few lessons that i have learnt from my fav book "The Alchemist"...If you haven't read it I suggest you do because its an awesome book and does have impact on you...It taught me just a few things i'd like to share here...

  • Everyone on earth has a treasure that awaits him so always try and look for it...It may be in you or outside...All you need to do is recognise your weakness and strenghts inorder to look for the treasure...
  • Never and never stop dreaming..Dreams are the ones that give you a reason to live and power to beleive in yourself...A person who has no dreams is like a car moving on a road with no destination ahead of itself...
  • In the language of the desert we say "one dies of thirst when the palm trees have just appeared on the horizon"...There is another saying to re-define that...It says "the darkest hour of the night comes just before dawn"...We all need to remember that every search begins with beginners luck and it ends with the person being severely tested...We don't fail in life because we don't work hard...We fail because we give up when God is testing us and that test is just one step before our destination...So always remember whenever you are being tested in life, you are the closest to your destination...
  • The world's greatest lie is that "at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what's hapening to us and our lives become controlled by fate"...there is a saying that "life is what you make it"...For example a student know his exams r on the 20th and he doesn't revise as a result he fails...After getting his results he says "It wasn't in my luck"...Our problem is that we blame luck instead of ourselves...If we concentrate on ourselves and blame ourselves we would be way way more succesful...

Even I love "The Alchemist". That's a book with great lessons.
