Shaam hoti hai teri yaad aati hai,
Ek thandi hawa iss dil ko chhu jati hai,

Dil ki khawaish hoti hai tere paas hone ki,
Par sirf teri yaadein hi saath hoti hai.

har lamha guzar jata hai, uski yaad main
ke kuch to baat hogi unki saath ki bhi.

Ek shaam guzre unki, mere saath bhi,
Bas karta rahu main sirf unki baat hi,

haath chhute na kabhi unka mere haath se,
har pal karta hu ibadat isi baat ki,

Aankh khulte hi ek haseen sapna aur tuut jata hai,
Ek thandi hawa iss dil ko chhu jati hai,
