Dard ki dil pe hakumat thi, Kahan tha us waqt ?
Jab mujhe teri zaroorat thi, Kahan tha us waqt ?

Maut ke sukh mein chala aya mujhe dekhne ko,
Zinda rehne ki museebat thi, Kahan tha us waqt ?

Dil ke darya’on mein ab rait hai sehraon ki,
Jab mujhe tujhse mohabat thi, Kahan tha us wakt ?
