चलो रुखसत पे ही सही
दिल तूने  कुरबान कर दिया
ये दो गज जमी का टुकडा
आज मेरे नाम कर दिया

बडा थकाया, बडा दौडाया
दो वक्त कि इस रोटी ने
अब न दौडूॅगा, दरबदर तरसता
बस तूने ये आराम कर दिया

 किसी ने घिसा जूता समझके
किसी ने फेंका कूडा समझके
किसे देगा गाली अब ये जहाॅन
तूने मुझे गुमनाम कर दिया

रहा उमरभर फटे पुराने लिबासो में
ये कफन नया क्यों इनाम कर दिया
जाते-जाते गरीबो कि बसती में
मुझे यूँ ही बदनाम कर दिया
