jaam pe jaam chadaye jaa rahe the
Pappu miyaan jaam banaye jaa rahe the
khud to peete nhi hain janaab
lekin sabko pilaye jaa rahe the

ab nashe me jhoomne lagi mehfil
pappu miya sambhale jaa rahe the
ab kab tak sambhalte wo bhi
sor se sab katle-aam machaye jaa rahe the

mehfil e saraab thi bade sabab pe
sb ke sb bhaichara nibha rahe the
bas hairat to thi is baat ki
ab pappu bhai nazar nahi aa rahe the

Kuch log to zameen se karne lage mohabbat
ek dum usme samay jaa rahe the
kuchon me tha dum baaki to wo
dhuan udaye jaa rahe the

Ghar to ban chuka tha mai-kada
sab najare jhoome jaa rahe the
hosh me the ek janaab  jo thoda
pappu bhi pee raha hai wo hi bata rahe the

Jashn e raat hone lagi khatam ab
nashe me bhi sabko ghar yaad aa rahe the
Dekha daye-baiyen , kuch dimaag se socha
2-3 log kam najar aa rahe the

najar ghumai to kuch mohabbat ki kitaab khole
kuch itihaas padaye jaa rahe the
fir bhi dekha kuch or log hain kam
dekha andar jaake to wo sab pappu ko sula rahe the
