Ay zara rukna,thoda thahar ja,
Bahot din ho gaye ya kahu sal ho gaye,
Jyada nahi kuchh hi pal shant banke khudke sang guzarle,
Nayi subah nayi zindagika ahesas mahesus karle,
Ugte surajki kirnoko ,udte panchhioko ghadibhar dekhle,
Thandi hawaki laharka sparsh mahesus karle,
Ek shant diya jo tujme he usase roshan ye pal karle..
