                     rahe gumnaam hum ghurbat mein.
                     hue  tanha  abb  shohrat  mein.

                     haadsa    mohabbat   ka  ho  gaya.
                     iss dil-e-nadaan kee hemaaqat mein.

                     khud  ke  aashiyana mein hua  andhera.
                     kiya taqseem chiraag jo sharaafat mein.

                     khaa   kar   ek   niwala   hee   buss.
                     rahe   bhooke   nafaasat   mein.

                     apnee kuch bhee kamaaee na thee.
                     mila sab kuch viraasat mein.

                     shaan-o-shaukat sab choot gaye.
                     hain jab se hiraasat mein.

                     'case' itne hain hum per qalb.
                      hai ghar apna ab adaalat mein.
