                     rahe  gul-o-khaar yahan  teri   wafaa   liye.
                     chale   hai  baadal  bhi   teri   ridaa liye.

                     hua   mota'asir  aaina  bhi  tujh  se shayad.
                     aaye   nazar   wo   bhi   teri   adaa   liye.

                     sunaaye  hai, taranaa dariya bhi mohabbat ke.
                     sangg  maujo.n ki rawaniya.n teri sadaa liye.

                     rahaa ghair hi hamesha, hue  qurbaan  jis  pe.
                     rahi  fitrat  uski,  zindagi-si  jafaa  liye.

                     hui    rafoo-chakkar   phir to  bimaari   apni.
                     dekh  muskurahat   uski  aisi  shafaa  liye.

                    rahe majboor 'MARHOOM' kuch  ess  tarah hum.
                     nibhaaye rishte dosto.n se dil mein khafaa liye.
