Bhool jaatey hain ham bhi, yeh sach hai; magar,
Unkey naqsh-e-karam, dil mein paaindah hain!
Eik ehsaas, beykhud-saa, pahloo mein hai;
Ham ko lagtaa hai ab bhi, ki, ham zindah hain!!
