rehti hai aankhon mein bas tasveer teri
                  khushkismat hai tumse hi taqdeer meri ,

rehti hai dil mein hi dadhkan teri
                  dil ko bhi ho  gayee hai aadat teri ,

na jaana kabhi tum dhoor ek pal bhi mujhse
                  nikal na jaye kahin jism se jaan meri ,

na chura le koi mera mohabat ke afsaane ko
                   wafaa kee  kitaab mein hai chahat e shayari meri
