                   shamsheer se ladne kee aadat see hai.
                   zindagee apnee buss shahaadat see hai.

                   karte hain bayaan nigaaho.n se  hum.
                   lafzo.n se abb  kuch adaawat see hai.

                   huee nasaaz tabiyat bahaar mein unkee.
                   wajood mein kitnee nazaakat see hai.

                   ek hee bottle ke qayaal sabhee rind hue.
                   maikhaane mein kaisee himaaqat see hai.

                   basaaye rakha taa-umr qalb mein unhein.
                   aashiqi mein kitnee sharaafat see hai.
