KHUSHEE KHUSHEE

Sahib mohabbat kar to lee hai unh sang khusee khushee
                Dil cheez kyaa hai, jaan bhi lutaa doon khushee khushee!

Hamdardiyan hain umr ko tanhaa rawee ke saath saath
                 Guzar rahee hai zindagi raah-e-wafaa khushee khushee!

Qadam qadam pe hee yeh jahan aaj fitnaa dhar huaa hai
                  Mumkin hee nahin, koi nibhaa bhi ho khushee khushee!

Jissey ikhtayaar bhi ho zindgi mein marg-o-zeest par
                    Merii umr kyun naa guzrey uss.sang khushee khushee!

Woh mohabbat bhi kyaa jo kabhi mustakil naa huyee
                    Woh ishq kyaa jo naa rahey ek ho ke khushee khushee!

MohaN yeh asan sii baat bhi kyun naa samajhey insan
   Woh bashar hee kyaa jo naa rahey bashar sang khushee khushee!

Rawee = guzartee; Fitnaa dhar = deadly opposed;
Marg-o-zeest = maut aur zindagi; death aur lifelessness;
