Insa.n jaisa chahta hai, vaisa kar nahi sakta,
Marzi se ji nahi sakta,jab chahe mar nahi sakta.

Zaroorte.n is jism ki hoti hain kuch aisi,
Bhukha reh nahi sakta, kha ke mar nahi sakta.

Apno ki umeedo.n aur gairo.n ke farebo.n mein,
Aisa jakda jata hai ki bahar nikal nahi sakta.

Jab chahe koi rona to yeh duniya hasati hai,
Chahe jab koi hasna to use kismat rulati hai.

Dil chahe jab tanhai to yeh mehfile.n sajati hai,
Jab mehfil ko ji chahe to tanhayan aur badati hai.

Insa.n ke bas nahi kuch bhi, woh kuch kar nahi sakta,
Marzi se ji nahi sakta, jab chahe mar nahi sakta.
