Bahut dino baad wapas aya hun, USKI mehrbani hai. Ek chhoti si peshkash.

Nazron ke samne se nazare nikal gaye,
Dekhane ki mili fursat jab, sare nikal gaye.

Jab tak hua ehsas ki kaun hai apna,
Door bahut wo log hamare nikal gaye.

Pahuncha jo maikade main thodi si der se,
Daur-e-jam tab talak sare nikal gaye.

Jehan mein jo asharar the wo bhul gaye hum,
Woh nzar ke sammne se, hamare nikal gaye.

Kuchh din to kushi mein tere sath beet gaye,
Baki ke tere gam ke sahare nikal gaye.

Garur ke nashe mein behta raha 'raji'
Utra nasha, majhdhar thi, kinare nikal gaye.
