Wo waqt ke saath faslo pe fasle badhate rahe
Hum unke saath waado pe wade nibhate rahe
Har roz wo apni mahfil ko saza kar khus hote the
Hum apne hatho se har roz apna kafan banate rahe
Unse puchha jab bhi kyun ye sitam hum pe karte ho
Wo har bar ki tarha gunhegar haalat ko banate rahe...

Kyun zindagi etni sata rahi hai
kyun din ki jagha raat badhti ja rahi hai
Kab tak es tarha boot bankar baithe rahe
Kyun nahi es jism se jaan nikal ke ja rahi hai...
