Un darichon se guzarte hue dar lagta hai,
Zakhm itne gehre hain ke apnon se dar lagta hai.

Koi behlaye to dil ko kis tarah se behlaye,
Khawab is kadar toote hain ke sapnon se dar lagta hai.

Apna sabkuchh gawakar aaj tanha baithe hai hum,
Is kadar lutt chuke hain ke mehmaanon se dar lagta hai.

Koi to sahara de aur mera haath thaam le,
Ruswa is kadar hue hain ke bekadron se dar lagta hai.

Kisi chehre mein apna sa chehra dikhta nahin,
Bebas is kadar hue hain ke aainon se dar lagta hai.
