YUN NAHIN CHALTI

Zindagi yun to nahin chalti
Jab tak ke eirhi naa lagaao
Ghorhhi bhi to nahin chalti

Thaam lagaam haath mein
Le chal kisee khwaab mein
Bin khwaab to nahin chalti

MohaN phir qalam haath le
Koi nagmaa-e-ishq likh de
Binaa gham to nahin chalti

Halkii sii jumbash lagaa de
Kissi ke saans hee hilaa de
Bin saanson to nahin chalti

Gar rah-e-mushkil bhi aaye
To teraa dil naa ghabraaye
Bin doley naav nahin chalti

Lagaa aansuon kee jharhhi
Piroh de motion kee larhhi
Binaa ishq yeh nahin chalti

Gul naa ho qehr se chiraag  
Lage naa koi hijar kaa daag
Binaa nibhaaye nahin chalti

Kissi se tu iqraar keeye jaa
Kissi se tu pyaar keeye jaa
Binaa pyaar to nahin chalti

Bin dua aakbat nahin milti
Bin dhoop kali nahin khilti
Bin chah taqdir nahin banti
