Zindagi agar mukhtasar si lage ,
to youn kisi ka intezar karliya jaye.

Kisi ki yaad agar tumhe sataye.
Mumkin hai ke tumhe unse pyaar hojaye.

Kisi ka chehra gar tassawwur mein lehraye,
Lakerain bhi khecho to tasveer banjaye.

Dua-e-‘sahal’ mein wo asar ho “Ya Rabb”
Yaad karun main usey aur wo saamne ajaye.
