ZINDAGI KAA MAQSAD


The purpose
Of life is not
To be happy
It is to be useful
To be honorable
To be compassionate
To have it make
Some difference
That you have
Lived and lived
Well.

Zindagi kaa maqsad sirf yeh to nahin
Ke tumh bas harash hee manaate rahe
Sochhte rahe yahan koi ranj hee nahin
Zindagi jeenaa to isse bhi kehte hain...
Ke yahan kuchh kaar aamad bhi rahe
Matbadal, izat afzaaee ke laaiq hee rahe
Sahib tumh to dard-mand-o-reham-dil...
Sab pe hee tars khaane ke maayil hee rahe
Jab tumh ruksat huey khuda ko pyaare huey
To har koi yeh kahe aadmee aam to naa huey...
Har kisee ke madad karte theh mukhtalif huey...
MohaN jahan mein ek bashar nayaare hee rahe!!
