उस ईंट को इमारत बनते देखा है
उस कली को फूल बनते देखा है
मैंने कल को देखा है

हर रात को सुबह होते देखा है
पतझर के बाद बहार होते देखा है
मैंने कल को देखा है

लोगो को दुखो में मुस्कुराते देखा है
जहा खोया था सब कुछ वो जहान देखा है
मैंने कल को देखा है

जो बीत गया कल उसे आज देखा है
जो आएगा कल उसे भी आज देखा है

क्योंकि 'रक़ीब' ने
हर पल में कल देखा है
और हर कल में
एक नया पल देखा है
