Mujhe maloom na tha ki
Uski har ek muskhurahat mujhe kyun khichti hai
Usko dekhte hi mujhpe hota hai aisa kuch
lage ki ye thandi hawaye Bhinchti hain mujhe

wo pal do pal door kya hui mujhse
tab samjh ishq mujhe  hua  hai unse
aankhir dil ki lagi thi
chup rehta bhi to kaise
jubaan to khamosh reh bhi leti
par in nigahao ko rokta bhi to kaise


Par ye ishq to mujhe tha
unko hai ya nahi poochta bhi to kaise
Jalne laga tha tan, dekh unhe gairo  ke saath
Par unko rok leta bhi to kaise


Maloom unhe bhi padhne laga tha
sayad tbhi door hone lagi thi mujhse
khilona hua falak lo ek main ab
tootne se khud ko rokta bhi to kaise

Wo Kabhi aake mujhse poochti to sahi
kabhi mere dil ki Sunti to sahi
Roshan to ye Diya bhi kar deta andhere ko
par wo poochti to magar kaise
