jaise raat ke baad din ka intzaar kartey hain
jaise inkaar ke baad dartey hue ikraar kartey hain
suna hai chand bhi dekhta hai chandani ke aane ki raah
suna hai taarey bhi raat hone ka intzaar kartey hain
unhien to ummeed hai unka milan hoga raat se
humein ummed hai woh aayenge nahin hamaare liye
phir bhi na jane kyun hum har pal unka intzaar kartey hain
