aaj unse ho gayee mulakat achanak
ghabrake unka pallu sarak gaya yakayak

annkhe unki bahut kuchh kahe ja rahi thhi
ek ajeeb se pyar ka ehsas kara rahi thhi

Hum dono sath sath chale ja rahe thhe
Na kuchh vo bol rahee thhi, na kuchh hum bol rahe thhe

lekin ek ajeeb pyar ka ehsas thha unke sath ka
Ungliyon pe apne pallu ko woh unke liptane ka

Aise hi chalte chalte unki manjil aa gayee
Hath hila ke vo apne ghar ki aur mur gayee

Hum dil tham ke vahi jarvat khare rahe
Unko jate hue mayusi mein dekhte rahe

Ab roj udhar ka chakkar lagate hain
Bas unke deedar ka intejar karte hain
