My Aching Heart

My heart is a hollow shell.
I feel the emptiness with you gone.
My life has no meaning without you.
Time stands still and the days will not end, as
I count the lonely hours since you've been gone.
I want back what we once had, the walks
along the sandy beach in moon light,
with the sky full of stars sparkling like
a thousand diamonds above us.
Wishing on a star as we
embrace in one another's arms lovingly.
My world is turned upside down.
My heart aches without you by
my side and drives me crazy.
Now, only memories remain of our kisses and
your arms wrapped around me.
Missing you torments me, when
I should be kissing
the sweetness of your tender lips.
My heart aches as it cries for you and
I feel lost and alone in the dark,
without you in my life.
I'll love you always praying, you'll
return to my arms once more.
