Fir aayi hai raat diwali
roshni se bhari hui hai
jale hue hain diye aur lattoo
kahin shamma bhi jali hui hai

Bahut yahan hai shor shraba
jahan wahan thhoo thhaa thhoo thhaa
khush hone ka dhang bhi bhoola
bas ek dooje pe tani hui hai

Sendh lagayeinmandiron mein
amrit ko vishh banate hain
sharabiyon ki mehfil shabaab pe
juye ki baaji jammi hui hai

Is din ka itihaas bhi bhoole
aakhir kyun ye mane diwali
chhod Ram ka jiwan darshan
Ravan se aankh ladi hui hai

Hey Ramji tum hi sudh dena
sabke mann tum roshan karna
sabke dil mein ho mohabbat
aur chetna jo khoi hui hai

Har insaan insaaniyat ko pooje
prakruti ka sammaan kare
bahar bhale hi ho andhera
ander ki batti jali hui hai
aur tabhi....diwali roshni se bhari hui hai
