Jo dard e dil likho to dard e jaan bhi likhna
gar qasam likho to rasm e qasam bhi likhna

yunhi nahin badalta koi bhi jahaan mein
jo mujhe madhosh likho to khud ko wajah bhi likhna

har eik hai nakaam o ruswa mohabbat ke raah mein
jo yeh likho to ba nisbat e junoon hai yeh bhi likhna

dunya mein nahin hai koi tanha sab ke sathi hote hain
jo yeh soch hai tumhari to mujhe dunya se alag bhi likhna

tum to ho chuki ab na karna kisi aur ko gumraah
jo mujhe khuda likho to khud ko deenon se juda bhi likhna

apni zindagi bheji hai tumhein is khat ke tour pe
jo mere saza likho to ishq hai khata yeh bhi likhna
