Chaand ke paas pahucha jugne udte hue
Bola aey chand tu jalta hai shab mein
Aur main bhi jalta hu shab mein

Tu bhi bikherta hai chandni
Aur main bhi roshini failata hu

Phir kyu tu har jagah samata hai
Aur mujhe hai ki koi puchta nahi

Chaand ne kaha
Sun Jugnu
Failata hu jo main chandni to roz dhand me main marta bhi hu
Tapan suraj ki le kar roz main jalta bhi hu

Na irshya kar mujhse itna
Ki main bhi usi khuda ka hu

Jis khuda ne tujhe paida kiya
Main bhi usi ke jahaan ka hu
