Neend bahut aati hai padhte padhte
Maa hoti to keh deta , ek pyali chai bana de.

thak gaya jali roti kha kha kar
Maa hoti to keh deta paranthe bana de

bheeg gayi aansuyon se aakhein meri
Maa hoti to keh deta aanchal de de

roj wahi koshish khush rahne ki
Maa hoti to muskra leta

der raat ho jati hai ghar pahunchte pahunchte
Maa hoti to waqt se ghar laut jata

suna hai kai dino se wo bhi nahi muskrai
yeh majburiyan na hoti to ghar chala jata

Bahut dur nikal aaya hoon ghar se apne
jo tere sapno ki parwah na hoti Maa, to bas chala aata
