Mujse pucha kisi ne dil ka matlb
maine b haske keh diya thikana uska,

fir kaha such batao ki zindgi ki khushi kya hai
tab kaha maine Ki muskurana uska,

usne puchha suhani sham kise kehte hai
maine keh diya sharmana uska,

usne puchha k btao ye qayamat kya hai
maine ghabra k kaha ruth jana uska,

kisi ne jo mjhse puchha maut kehte hai kise
mai aankhe pochh kr kaha,
zindgi me tanha chhod jana uska.
