         Thaka hara jab bhi ghar pahunchta hoon
         humesha tu hi yaad aati hai maa

         Neend jb aati hai mujhe
         Tera aanchal hi yaad aata hai maa

         Is duniya mein koi apna nhi hai
         Aaj teri baatein yaad aati hain Maa

         Jise dekho zakhm hi deta hai
         Or tu mamuli sa zakhm dekhke bhi roti hai maa

         Kabhi sanskaaron ka bojh dalti thi humpe jb
         Lagta tha bs yun hi kehti rehti hai maa
        
         Par aaj teri aawaz sunne ko
         Kaan mere taras jaate hain maa

         Badi Badi chattane dehti dekhi
         Par hume jisne sambhala wo tu hai maa
        
         Tere pass aane ko dil cahta hai par Kya karun
         Mera bachpan ab laut ke nhi aata hai maa  

         Aaj mera kaha har ek alfaaj
         Tujhe dil se Pukar raha hai maa
