उसको क्या-क्या हुनर नहीं आता,
दर-ब-दर है, नज़र नहीं आता ।

जबसे दुनिया का सच खुला हम पर,
कोई झूठा नज़र नहीं आता ।

शेर कहना, उदास हो लेना,
ये हुनर भी अगर नहीं आता ?

सोचता हूँ, अब इस बुलंदी से,
काश जीना नज़र नहीं आता ।

कितने मौसम बदल गए दानिश
आने वाला मगर नहीं आता ।
