Jab bahar aayi to sahera ki taraf chal nikala
Sahen’e’gul chhod gaya dil mera pagal nikala

Jab use dhudhne nikle to nishaa tak na mila
Dil mein maujud raha aankh se aojhal nikala

Ek mulaqaat thi jo dil ko sada yaad rahi
Main jise umr smjhte the wo ek pal nikala

Woh jo afasan’e’gham sun ke hasa karte the
Itna roye hain ke sab aankh ka kajal nikala

Ham sukoon dhondne nikle they pareshan rahe
Saher to saher hai jangal bhi na jangal nikla

Kaon AYUB pareshan nahi tareeki me
Chand aflaak pe dil seene me bekal nikla
