 haalaat ke qadmon pe qalaNdar nahiN girtaa,...
toote jo sitara toh zameen per nahiN girtaa

girte hain samnder main bare shou.q se dariyaa
lekin kabhee dariyaa mein samander nahiN girtaa
.................ghazal

khoo.d apne liye beith ke sochen gen kisee diN,..
yuN hai ke tujhe bhoo.l ke dekhen gen kisee diN

aapas kee kisse baa.t kaa miltaa hee nahiN waq.t
har baar yeh kehte hain ke bethe gen kisee diN,...

jaatee hai kisee jhee.l ki ghahraayee kahan tak
aankhon main teree  doo.b ke dekhen kisee diN

hiil jaayen gen ikk baar arshon ke dar o baa.m,
yeh khaa.k nasheen lou.g jo bolen gen kisee din

amjad hai yahee ab ke kafan baandh ke sar par,.
uss shehr e sitam gaa.r mein jayen gen kisee diN,.
