 mere pasandeeda poet adeem hashmi sahib kee aik ghazal ,..........

sar e sehra musafir ko sitara yaad rehta hai
main chalta hun muje chehra tumhara yaad rehta hai

tumhara zarf hai tum ko muhabbat bhool jatti hai
humen to jis ne hans kar be pukara yaad rehta hai

muhabbat aur nafrat ,talkhi aur shireeni
kis ne kis tarah ka phool mara yaad rehta hai

muhabbat main jo duba ho use sahil se kya lena
kise is behr main ja kar kinara yaad rehta hai

bohat lehroon ko pakra dobne wale ke hathoon ne
yahi bas aik darya ka nazara yaad rehta hai

sadain aik si, yaksaniyat main doob jaati hain
zara sa mukhtalif jis ne pukara yaad rehta hai..

Bhatke hue phirte hain kaee lafz jo dil mein
Duniya ne diya waqt to likk denge kisi din

Hil jayenge ek baar to arshoon ke dar-o-baam
Ye khaak nasheen log jo bolenge kisi din

Ae jaan teri yaad ke benaam parindey
Shaakhon pe mere dard ki utrenge kisi din

Jaati hai kisi jheel ki gahraee kahan tak
Aankhon mein teri doob ke dekhenge kisi din 

Soyenge teri aankh ki khilvat mein kisi raat
Saaye mein teri zulf ke jaagenge kisi din

Khushboo ki tarah asl-e-sabaa khaak numa se
Galiyon se tere shahr ki guzrenge kisi din

‘Ae jaan’ hai yehi ab ke kafan baandh ke sar se
Us shahr-e-sitamgar mein jaayenge kisi din
