Kitni masoom si lagti hai tumhari aankhe,
Kyo mere dil me utarti hai ye pyari aankhe.

Hakikat ho kabhi ya koi sapna dekhu,
Aaine me bhi jo aksh kabhi apna dekhu.
Meri nazron se n hat ti hai tumhari aankhe.

Madhosh kabhi to kabhi behosh bhi hai,
Chanchal kabhi to kabhi khamosh bhi hai.

Mujhko har hal me janchti hai tumhari aankhe,
Mere halaat jo bata de ye Zamana bhi kabhi.

Mera dil todkar inko yu na rulana kabhi,
Mere dil me hi to hansti hai tumhari aankhe
