Socha likhu unke liye ek kavita pyaari,
jo de khushi unhe is jahan ki saari...

Sabse pehle aankhen unki,
itni pyari jaise aasman se ho uttari...

Fir uddti julf kamal ki,
jaise kali ghata chha gayiho sari........

Labhon par thehri(ruki) fir najren hamari,
dekh jinhe sharma jaye gulaab bhi,
hai itni wo pyaari...

Madhur vaani, komal sparsh,
jisne udai neenden hamari.

Pehnawa hindustani unka,
gajab dha gayi chehre ki lalli.....

Pavitar mann, sunder tann,
bhagwan ne bhi badi tasalli se banai jaan hamari...........
