Surrah: AL-Nisaa , Ayat no. 86 ,

Allah The Exalted says: When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it.

Rawah Al Bukhari , Kitab Al Iman ;12 ,

Abdullah bin Amr (RA) narrated : A man asked The Prophet (SAW) "Whose Islam is better" The Prophet ö replied, "To feed (others), and say salam to whom you recognize and (also) whom you do not recognize."

Rawah Al Muslim , Kitab al Iman ; 194 ,

Abu Huraira (RA) narrated: Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "You will not enter Paradise until you believe; and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I not guide you to a thing which if you do, you will love one another: spread (the greeting of peace) Salaam amongst yourselves."

Hazrat Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radi Allahu anhu) also narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (Sall Allahu ‘alaihi wa Salim) said: "On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those who have read the most amount of Durood Shareef". (Tirmidhi)

Abu Hurairah (May ALLAH be please with him) Narrated that the Messenger of ALLAH (SAW) said,

"BE AWARE OF SUSPICION, for suspicion is the worst of false tales, and DO NOT LOOK FOR OTHERS' FAULTS, and DO NOT INDULGE IN SPYING on one another and DO NOT PRACTICE NAJSH i.e., to offer a high price for something in order to allure another customer who is interested in that thing, and DO NOT BE JELOUS of one another and DO NOT HATE one another and DO NOT DESERT one another. O ALLAH's WORSHIPERS! BE BROTHERS!"

narrated on the authority of Jabir Bin Abdullah (may ALLAH be pleased with him) that ALLAH's Messenger (SAW) said,

"he who shows no mercy to the peple, ALLAH, The Exalted and Glorious, does not show mercy to him."

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who took an oath and (later on) found another thing better than that, he should do that which is better, and expiate for the vow (broken by him). [Muslim]

The expiation for breaking an oath consists of options in the order in which Allah mentioned them in the Quran (Maidah 5: 89):

1. Feeding ten poor person with the average kind of food that one feeds his family, or
2. Clothing them, or
3. Freeing a slave.
The one who does one of these things has fulfilled his duty and done what was required of him. If he is unable to do any of these three things, then he moves to the option of fasting, and he must fast three days.

The quantity of food that must be given to each poor person is roughly 1.5 kilograms (1/2 sâ`) of food. The total would be roughly 15 kilograms of food. Clothing a person is what is sufficient for a person to wear to prayer.

Realistic Method
The Sunnah of the Prophet, peace be upon him, does not regard people as if they were winged angels,Little wonder then that a human being ascends and descends, that he makes progress and he stumbles, that he is guided and goes astray, that he stands firm and he deviates, that he disobeys God and he repents.
The Sunnah makes allowance for the reality of the human being and it relents from him when he lapses into disobedience. It does not close the door in the face of repentance. Rather, it opens it wide before him so that he can knock on that door, repentant and remorseful before his Lord. As in the hadith: "God spreads out His hands through the night so that He may accept repentance for the offences of the day; and He spreads out His hands through the day so that He may accept repentance for the offences of the night - until the sun rises in the west." [Muslim]

The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Soon my Ummah will reach a time wherein they will love five things and
forget five things:

.They will love the world & forget the Hereafter,

.They will love wealth & forget the Day of Reckoning,

.They will love the creation & forget the Creator,

.They will love sinning & forget repenting, and

.They will love their homes & forget the Grave

The Holy Prophet said:

The best of you is he who learnt the Holy Quran and taught it to others.
(Bukhari)

Undoubtedly, the heart gets rusted like metal gets rusted when water goes over it. The People asked, "How can they [hearts] be cleaned." The Prophet replied, "To remember death in abundance and to recite the Holy Quran."

Narrated Anas: The Prophet(SAW) said,
"Whoever possesses the following three qualities will taste the sweetness of faith:
1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle become dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's sake.
3. Who hates to revert to disbelief (Atheism) after Allah has brought (saved) him out from it, as he hates to be thrown in fire."

This is also confirmed in an authentic tradition that Ibn Mas'ood (may Allah exalt their mention) narrated:

"I asked Allah's Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم): 'O Prophet of Allah: What is the most beloved act in the sight of Allah?'
He(صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: "Offering the prayer in its proper time."
I asked: 'What comes next, O Prophet of Allah?'
He(صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: "Being good, kind, respectful, obedient and caring to your parents."
I further asked: 'What comes next, O Prophet of Allah?'
He(صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: "Striving in the cause of Allah."

The Value of Time

Al-Bukhari, al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah narrated, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "There are two blessings which many people lose: Health and free time for doing good."

Time is a precious blessing and a great gift, the value of which is only realised and benefitted from by the successful guided ones, as indicated by the noble hadith, "which many people lose," implying that only a minority benefit from it, while the majority are wasters and losers.
