GAYANTI MANTRA IN SIMPLE HINDI.

Sabkaa pitaa ek hai, hai woh sab kaa paalan haar,
Ussee ke ishaare par yeh chaltaa hai sab sansaar!

Wohee hai sab kaa jeevan, OM hai uss kaa naam,
Sab kaa, sukh dukh hartaa, meraa usse pranaam!

Woh sabkee naav kaa chaalak, sirf usse hum yaad karen,
Wohee hai gyaan saare, ussee pe hum dhyaan dharen!

Ussee dev hee se hai yeh saaraa jagat bhudhee paataa,
Ussee dev hee kee hai yeh saaraa jagat gaathaa gaataa!

Sach kee rah path ho meraa, praarthnaa karun din raat,
Shat.shat pranaam ho meraa, jhuke sirf ussee ke maath!

Meghah bhudhi deejiye hum sabko, hey jag ke daataar,
Terey hee gunh gaate gaate, theek path chalen kartaar!!

DAATAAR = Sabko dene waalaa daataa; sabko muaaf karne waalaa daataa;
KARTAAR = Dyaalu; all merciful;


GAYATRI MANTRA TRANSLATION IN ENGLISH:

Remember thy creator, with the full faith of thee,
Spend each day of you life, in the service and devotion of Thee!

Respect the inspirer of thy soul with all heart of thee,
One and the only one that stays away from all miseries,
who is an absolute bliss and is a source of all bliss in thee!

The one who with his divine powers moves his universe,
the one with his unchanging laws, bestows blessings to thee!

From all sides and corners of his creation,
one with the source of all his wisdom and knowledge of his creation,
May He keep inspiring, the path of righteousness in thee!!
