Wo dastaan sunane baithe hai mehfil me,
Is andaz-e-bayaan se mehfil ko maza de gaye,

Jis Dard ko apne samet kar rakha tha maine,
Unke labzo se yun nikli unhe kuredte chale gaye,

Chand pal jo bitaye the unki agosh me maine kabhi,
Sare pal meri khushiyon ke wo khushi se maar gaye,

Jo kiya karte the mohabbat ke dawe mujh se kabhi,
Aaj bade pyaar se daman ko mere kichad se bhar gaye,

Roshan thi meri zindegi bhi mohabbat ke chiraag se,
Chin kar roshni mujhe andhero me dhakel gaye,

Waah waahi luti mehfil se apne gam ko jata ke,
Kant kar gala mera wo bade pyaar se nikal gaye!

Mahfil me tujhe rusva karti huyi ye kiski bewafayi hai...

Tere dard ki sada pe royega vo bhi ek din sisak sisak ke...
Dard ke har ehsas pe mehsus karega,k tune kitni wafayen nibhayi hai..
