  Mere gahm ka sabab puchnewale,
  aksar meri tarah gahmgeen nikle.
 
  dur se jise lagta tha moti,
  kareeb ane par ashk nikle.
 
  sunte aye hain barson se masiha jise,
  waqt ane par meri tarah aam insaan nikle.

  dunya ki jafaen ko seene se lagate chale,
  dost kbhi raqeeb aur habib kabhi kafir nikle.
