ae baad-e-saba un se pooch aana,
guzre ayyam aur ratein kesein,
guzra ab ka maousm bahar kesa,
guzri rhim jhim sawan ki barsatein kesein,
meri bazam ko chor ker jane wale,
hoi gein gheron se mulaqatein kesein,
aur sath ye bee pooch aana yad to aati hogi,
thi Tahir deewane ki baatein kesein...
