na jaane kyun tum mere kuchh na huye,
hote to khuda bhi ho sakte they,
ab meri bad'duaon ka mazmoon ho,
chahte to meri dua bhi ho sakte they,
tumhari marzi ki mujhe siyahi di hai,
yun meri duniya ki subah bhi ho sakte they,
afsos adawat tumhare chalan me shumar,
badalte to jaan-a-wafaa bhi ho sakte they,
ab kaha paoge pur-sukun saayeban,
ruk jaate to is dil me bawasta bhi ho sakte they,
na jaane kyun tum mere kuchh na huye.............san
