                     Mausam-e-baarish………..sahal

Aaj baarish ka mausam kitna hai haseen,
Dil mera beimaan hogaya hai miskeen.

(miskeen=humble)

Ashkon se mera bheega hai rukh-e-jabeen,
Bheegti jaise baarish mein hai zameen.

Tez toofan mein kahin khogaya hai makeen,
Karwan guzar gaya to ye aya hai yakeen.

(makeen=makan mein rehnewala)

Is dil-e-takleef mein kaun deta hai taskeen “sahal”,
Dil-e-pur mazaaq mera phirse hogay hai mateen.
    

(mateen=serious/sanjeeda)
(taskeen=tassalli/satisfaction)
