Mohabbat maiN galat'fehmi agar ilzaam tak pohanche
kis'e ma'loom kis'ka naam kis ke naam tak pohanche

teri aankhoN ke thukraaye huye wo log the shaayad
jo ik sharmindagi hontoN pe le'kar jaam tak pohanche

sabhi rastoN pe the shaola'fishaaN haalaat ke suuraj
bohat mushkil se ham un gaisuu'oN ki shaam tak pohanche

kisi ne bhi na apni dhaR'kanoN maiN di jagah jin'ko
wo saare wal'wale mere dil-e-nakaam tak pohanche

sajaa kar aaye jab sone ka chashma apni aankhoN par
nazar ham muflisoN ki tab kahaaN us baam tak pohanche

Qateel aaiina ban jaao zamaane maiN mohabbat ka
agar tum chaah'te ho shairii ilhaam tak pohanche
