Ham wahaan rahtey naheen, tum jahaan naheen rahtey!
 Log kahtey hain yahee ham sey: ham naheen kahtey!!
 
 Nigaah un kee idhar thee, to fir, udhar kyaa thaa?
 Woh samajhtey hain: ujaaloun mein ham naheen rahtey!

 Saath hai un key, kisee gair jism ki khushboo;
 Woh samajhtey hain, hawaaoun mein ham naheen bahtey!
